Joseph started in the parking industry working for two major firms as a member of management. However, the leadership just wasn’t there. Uninspiring. No passion for improving their clients’ bottom line. It was a just a job and not a dedication.

The time was right to breakout. Having just earned his MBA, Joseph was equipped with business knowledge. And his two previous employers provided him with hands on experience, so Joseph founded CarPark in 1994.

Since then, CarPark has grown to be a premier provider of parking and transportation management services to a diverse group of real estate professionals. Joseph’s hands on approach assures every client that the operator responsible for managing their facility will bring innovative solutions to improve revenues and minimize operating expenses.

Mike Marji

Mike has been a member of CarPark’s executive team since 2005 and is responsible for the company’s diverse operations. He brings more than 25 years of leadership and business acumen to empower his operating team. With a deep focus on enhancing customer service delivery, he’s able to deploy new technologies to improve operations. Mike possesses a PhD in civil and industrial engineering, plus he holds a Masters Degree in Finance and Business Management. This unique combination makes Mike an indispensable resource for our clients in need of due diligence and assistance with facility design.

Susan Charif

Director of Human Resources

Susan’s critical position is labor intensive, for a service provider firm such as CarPark. The ability to properly recruit, train and retain exceptional employees cannot be underestimated. Her vast experience in a variety of service firms provides CarPark with the means to deliver optimum results.

She’s a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and is currently completing her certification for a Senior Professional In Human Resources (SPHR). Susan’s depth of experience is frequently called upon to assist our operating teams for improving their clients’ bottom line.

Sid is responsible for client reporting, internal auditing, proper reconciliation and guardian of all collected revenues. His experience as a Senior Accountant and Controller prepared him for the demands that this job requires. The rigorous attention-to-detail as a custodian of our client’s assets must be maintained and supported throughout the organization. Sid works feverishly to meet our clientele’s specific reporting needs, by tailoring their monthly newsgathering. He’s instrumental in advancing CarPark’s technologies to reduce costs while improving client financial documentation delivery.

Justin brings over 5 years of transportation and sales leadership to the Carpark team. He has worked extensively with countless transportation companies in a variety of markets including parking, shuttle and ride sharing, as well as International Imports and Exports. With this knowledge, Justin finds and develops transportation/Supply Chain solutions based on the needs of each of his clients. He has previously served as the VP of Business Development with the nation’s largest personal driver service, and provided consultation and services for the largest parking operator, SP Plus. Justin has been involved in securing new parking and transportation contracts in Commercial Real Estate, Luxury Residential, Hospitality, and others.
Justin completed his schooling at California State University, Fullerton with Supply Chain Operations, and currently lives in Santa Monica.

These frequently-asked questions were assembled to help you understand CarPark’s Prepaid Reservation System.

Yes, you must always present your reservation/confirmation voucher to the cashier. A reservation must always be presented to show proof of purchase. Your confirmation is provided to you via email.

Modifications and cancellations can be made up to 24 hours in advance. To modify a reservation, please go to our website prior to the start of your reservation. There will be a link at the bottom right-hand corner of the reservation box that states “modify and/or cancel reservation.” Click the link and follow the steps.

Reservations cannot be modified or canceled after the scheduled reservation time, and no refund will be issued.

No refund will be issued for unused days. There are no refunds for reservations that are cancelled inside of 24 hours prior to arrival.

If you have an overstay on a reservation that has already been paid, you will be asked to pay the additional amount at time of check out. Please present the cashier your ticket at check out. A reservation/confirmation must be presented to the cashier to determine the difference owed.

No, your booking is confirmed with CarPark, Inc. and the facility at the time of purchase. You will receive a confirmation email.

At the end of the booking process, a confirmation screen will display showing your booking details that you may print. You will also receive an email confirmation within one hour booking your reservation

An email address, first and last name, and phone number are required to make an online reservation.

If you do not have an email address, call your local CarPark, Inc. to make a reservation.

These are daily/hourly lots, so the maximum numbers of days is limited to one day.

Your credit card is charged in full at the time of your reservation booking.

Yes, your credit card information is secure. Our Online Book Platform does not store your credit card information nor do we have access to your credit card. The Online Book Platform is encrypted with a 256-bit security to ensure your credit card transaction is secure.

Online reservations require a credit card for booking. If you do not want to use a credit card online, you will need to drive to the parking location and pay onsite.

To arrange a refund, please call or email the Carpark office or the facility where you parked. To find the direct phone number, go to carpark.com and scroll to the bottom to locate our phone number.

Please allow seven business days for your refund to be processed. Refunds may take longer depending on the processing time of your credit card provider.

Credits are dictated by the time it takes the merchant services company and your credit card company to process the refund. Your refund is submitted immediately by us, but there is often a delay by the merchant service or credit card company in crediting the account.

No, we only accept major credit cards for online bookings. If you do not want to use a credit card online, you will need to drive to the parking location and pay onsite.

Each parking facility has a limited number of reserved parking spaces. When these are sold out, it is removed from the available choices for reservations.

For a copy of your confirmation, call the facility where you made the reservation, and one of our representatives will be happy to assist you.

If you are unable to print your reservation at home, you may also show the reservation from your phone to the cashier upon check out.

(The services and procedures may vary by CarPark, Inc. location) If the parking lot is fully automated (unmanned), pull your ticket upon entry. Upon exiting the lot insert the pulled ticket (obtained on entry into the lot) in the machine then scan your reservation barcode. If the lot is not fully automated, please pull a ticket from the entry column to enter the lot. Present your ticket to the cashier with your reservation when you exit the lot. If the lot has no parking equipment present your reservation to the cashier upon entry.
